Discover What's New and Improved in the 2023 Dodge Durango!

2023 brings in a new year for the Dodge Durango, with several new features included among its different trims.

The SUV is easy-to-drive, having been designed with the driver as the focus. With the return of the Hellcat engine, this vehicle isn’t lacking any power, thanks to the 710 hp available.

Overview

The Dodge Durango 2023 specs are impressive, with the return of the Hellcat engine, new colours, and several other driver-first features. All-wheel drive is standard through all trims.

While the Hellcat is impressive, a more standard V6 engine is included in most of the trims. Whichever trim you try, the interior has a spacious and luxurious feeling.

The Trims

There are five trims available for the SUV -- SXT, GT, R/T, Citadel, and SRT92. Each trim comes with its own perks, specs, and plenty of features to make driving it feel amazing.

SXT

Powered by a 3.6-liter V6 with an output of 295 hp and 260 ft-lb of torque, the base-level SXT trim comes with an 8-speed automatic transmission and includes several features such as heated mirrors, an 8.4-inch touchscreen display infotainment system, and a roof rack. The starting price for the SXT is $54,890.

GT

The GT adds a few extra features, including a power liftgate, a heated steering wheel, and heated front seats. However, this trim doesn’t offer the roof rack that the SXT has. Instead, it includes leather upholstery, lane departure warning, and adaptive cruise control. This trim comes with a starting price of $62,090.

R/T

The R/T builds upon the features offered with the GT, and changes its engine to a 5.7-liter V8 that offers 360 hp and 390 ft-lb of torque, along with an 8-speed automatic transmission. The trim comes with sport suspension, power-adjustable passenger seat, and a household power outlet. The R/T starts at $69,890.

Citadel

While it comes standard with a 3.6-liter V6 engine, the 5.7-liter V8 is available as an optional feature. The Citadel comes with the standard features of the GT, as well as a chrome exterior trim, second-row captain's chairs with a total seating for six, an upgraded leather upholstery, and ventilated front seats. The Citadel has a starting price of $71,190.

SRT 392

Coming with a 6.4-liter V8 engine that offers 475 hp and 470 ft-lb of torque, this trim offers plenty of power. It comes with all-wheel drive and the standards from the R/T, along with Brembo brakes, upgraded leather sport seats, active noise cancellation, and limited-slip differential. This all comes at a starting price of $86,190.

Design and Comfort

The SUV features a driver-first design, which can be seen across its various trim levels. This can easily be seen thanks to the leather seating with heated functionality and the all-wheel-drive system that can take you anywhere in comfort.

The Hellcat Returns

2023 also brings the return of the Hellcat engine, a 6.2L HEMI engine that boasts 710 hp and 645 ft-lb of torque. Available as an option for the SRT 392 trim, this engine is one of the most noticeable changes to the model this year.
