Exterior
The design of the Wrangler is based on the Gladiator, except for the five-foot cargo bed. The Gladiator was created by Jeep due to the years of lobbying by Wrangler enthusiasts for Jeep to bring out a truck version of the Wrangler. The 2022 Jeep Gladiator, Calgary was born after Jeep finally gave in and gave its mid-size truck enthusiasts what they were so long waiting for.
The Gladiator is the only truck in its class with a sunroof. The five-foot-long cargo space offers ample space for any workhorse task or outdoor weekend adventure. This beast towers 75-inches high, and its total length is 218-inches. As expected, the size of the tennis shoes has to match in size to carry this big boy around. The Gladiator wheels come standard in 17 x 7.5-inches with 33-inch tires.
Interior
If you’re thinking of taking friends along on your weekend getaways, you’ll be pleased to know that the Gladiator offers loads of space in the back, and it can take up to five occupants.
Jeep has upgraded the interior to be more luxurious without taking away the Gladiator's masculinity. If you’re short in stature, don’t fret. Technology and Safety Features
All Gladiator trims in 2022 come standard with a touchscreen infotainment system, a navigation system, an optional alpine sound system, and integrated mobile adaptability.
The Gladiator has excellent front and rear visibility. Advanced driving aids include, but are not limited to, a collision warning system, adaptive cruise control, a blind-spot monitoring system, and a forward-collision warning system. The collision warning system will apply the brakes in the event of the driver not responding in time.
The NHTSA completed independent tests on the 2022 Jeep Gladiator. Tests included frontal barrier crashes. The Gladiator received 4/5 for driver impacts and 5/5 for passenger impacts.
